I bought a 103mW laser and in the spec. it says 0,8mRad!
What does this means, what is "mRad"?

Is a lower "mRad" better than a higher!?

What´s the "mRad" on WL:s models ex. Exodus and Nexux?

Happy for answers...

Best regards

Hello Mellow, welcome to the forums! mRad is a measure of beam divergence. For example a <1.5mRad laser will have a

dot of less than 1.5mm at 1 meter. Generally, the lower the divergence; the more focused the beam remains over a given

distance. Wicked Lasers all have a divergence of less than 1.5mRad.

Hope that helps!

Beam divergence is a measure of how much a beam expands per meter, 0.8 mrd means it expands 0.8mm per meter etc and the beam diameter would probaly be greater than 1.5mm. At a distance of 10 meters the beam will have a diameter of .8cm. That is the international standard 10 meters. It is metric as you know. The more a beam is expanded the lower the divergence will be. All that you ask is readly available of the web.
