Honestly, the EASIEST "uv" laser is a blu-ray, as for true uv? now that'll be hard...
the blu-ray DOES make quite a bit florese though. _________________

365nm and 254nm UV lasers exist only in lab types and are extremely $$$$$. It cost even more than a 556nm laser so beware as 556nm lab lasers costs more than 10K for 5mW and 74K for 100mW. Also pulsed units are cheaper than CW units but they still cost your life.
Otherwise, Gas lasers (obviously NOT portable) such as Helium Cadmium lasers can operate at 325 nm and have outputs from 10-100mW in CW which is good but they are still very expensive, though their price/mW are certainly better than true UV diode lasers operating in CW as their best output power is around 5mW. |

you can make your own! i've herd that they are easy to make! here is a link
--->link<--- You can get an xbox hd add on instead and you can get lucky because some of the newer ones have +100mw diodes _________________ resistance is futile (if <1 ohm)

405nm isn't UV yet. A multiline argon also puts out UV lines, so you have visible AND invisible light, can it get any better? |
