Are any of you guys Americans, and have you gotten your laser pointer without any trouble?

Or are you just buying from EBay?

So does this mean that your lasers are now FDA Compliant? All the required safety features for high powered lasers are included? Key lock, closing aperture, etc? Or have you just found a loophole? Or did you just put a 5mW sticker with the Accesion number on a higher power laser?

I know for a fact that you can't have a valid accesion number without the proper safety features for a >5mW laser.

If Wicked isn't pulling a fast one on US customs, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to provide his accesion number for his high powered lasers.

Or he'll just delete this post and ban me..one of the two. If so, I'll be back.

wow buddy you really need a life if your worrying about that kind of crap. As far as im concerned anything is legal as long as you dont abuse it and do immature little ass kid things such as the crap you keep talkin bout.... "ohhh i hope there are safety matters on those things so you can sell..." SHUTUP! and leave the forum's. Your not even old enough to own one of these. Thanks, and see ya!

In fact, I'm 27 yrs. old. Plenty old enough to own one.

If you're an intelligent person, you would think to go to the FDA, Customs, and Homeland Security sites and you will see that Class IIIb lasers are REQUIRED BY LAW to have these safety features.
Any laser over 5mW is a Class IIIb laser. Lasers 5mW and under are Class IIIa lasers and do not requre those safety features.

I could care less if they had them or not. Fact of the matter is, if they don't have them, you run the risk of Customs seizing your laser. Those that live here in the US should consider themselves lucky that they received their laser, and not a cheap ink pen.

And what are the "Immature little kid" things that I've supposedly talked about? I'd like you to quote them from the whopping 3 posts I've made here.

You're right, I do care about it getting seized. I care about losing $500. Obviously something is very wrong with you if you don't care about losing $500, or you just have so much money that you don't know what to do with it all, so you waste it on crap like this.

Oh, and give it a couple of months I guarantee your laser will start to lose power.

So enjoy your 95mW pens while they last. That kind of power output should have a heatsink like the PGL's do. So, I'd be careful about your on and off time. Oh, wait, you don't care. If you're laser fries itself you'll just buy another one. I bet you you're Chris's favorite customer. Rolling Eyes

I'm through with this ridiculous conversation.

Actually I had a 55mw for many months - no problem. I think laserman needs to pull the rod out of his rectum and take his duddly-do-right attitude elsewhere.

Yet you tell me in a private message that there WAS an issue with your laser...that's funny.

So I suppose that if he were importing illegal firearms into the US you wouldn't mind either?

I know that firearms is hardly an accurate comparison to a laser, but the basic concept is the same.

I think if you look at the amount of reads this thread has had, you can imagine how much business has been lost, and how important it really is to people in the US that they purchase a product that is legal in the US. Period.
