I havnt driven one yet (lately), but im seriously considering buying one. Ive seen a few used listed for $14K-20K.
I may do a test drive soon. Ive heard over-all good things.
What do you guys think?
ps... Im strongly in favor of toyota in general so I wont consider buying a honda, at least not at this point;) _________________ eddie

Looks like that baby will max at 20mph.
I know this car isn't the one that runs on corn oil or whatever...but WHY would you need the corn oil engine? What "gas" stations have places where you can fill up on that corn stuff? Is there ONE in the country? |

Know what a great thing to do is? Have a McDonalds cup in your trunk. When you get thirsty...stop at some random place...even if it's not mcdonalds or even if it's a resturaunt. TALK ON YOUR CELL PHONE...Go to the soda "fountian" fill up your cup. Walk out still on the phone. Nobody bothers you when you're on the phone. |

Ive heard they have decent power at least up to 70-80 mph. But youre right, its not alot of power at freeway speeds.
For those of you that might be confused, the Prius is strictly a gasoline/electric hybrid, there are no organic or vegetables involved _________________ eddie

In my opinion, I think buying hybrid car is a waste. It's almost twice the price as normal car as the same performance, that will never cover by the different of cost that you have to pay for its fual. So, if it was me I will think for another car.
But if you have environmental concern, it will be a great choice. _________________
