Well, I have asked several questions on this forum, and I have gotten my answers. Now my Birthday is right around the corner and I must decide on my laser.
I am debating between the CORE and the Evo 5mW.
I am leaning more towards the Evo, but if I am making a mistake, please let me know! My main concerns are night time beam visibility, and dot brightness.
Thanks once again!
Segmaster
p.s. I am gonna get a higher power laser if this one impresses me! |

The Core would be better for a pointer I think
The small beam diameter on the Evo doesnt help as it cant burn.
Its got a more sturdy case, and rougher look tho
The Core pwns for long distance pointing
The Core has 1.2 mRad Divergence, (I think its 1.2)
The Evo has 1.5 mRad (Im pretty sure it was 1.5)
So, Evos beam/dot gets bigger at distance, that means that it looks weaker, and is harder to spot at a long distance... _________________ WickedLasers, change name on the Executive series!

The human eye cannot detect a difference in 0.3 mRad. Sorry! _________________ Spyder II GX, BX

Well, it looks like the CORE is more popular so far... I guess it's because more people have bought it than the Evo 5mW. Thanks for the votes so far! |

| Well, thanks everyone for the suggestions, which I passed on to the gift-giver. However the gift giver decided to ignore that advice and got me a 10mW green laser that has a 5-point safety system. (it IS legal in the US!!!) I'll post pics and a review later. |
