Has anyone tried buying a 20gb PS3, taking out the diode and putting it in the wicklaser sonar case?
Is it possible?
It'd be the cheapest blue laser you can buy pretty much |

Lol, Blu-Ray is a violet laser diode, not a blue DPSS laser module, you may rip off the diode from a PS3 to get a violet laser though. _________________ >>Click here to go to my laser userbars site!<<

Why buy a whole PS3? Just buy the sled with the diode. |

The sled costs about 80$ while the whole PS3 costs <500$...
You can then also buy a Nexus from WL. |

| So the laser is violet from the Playstation? How many different colors can you get in a consumer laser? |

I sure wouldn't waste a PS3 for the laser. But let us know how it goes... just in case

| I personally would never take apart my PS3 to get a laser. Just my opinion. |
