This is the review for the Pulsar Pro Series 130mW Red Laser. I will not be uploading all of the review at once, though will be continously adding today, and for the rest of the week.

I know I am not allowed to double post, so I will erase this once I recieve a reply. I can't seem to upload the video. I did the "add an attachment" at the bottom when creating a post, and when I submitted it, every time it says: "No mode specified". How do I upload it? Thanks

I would just upload it to youtube, and link it, it takes up less space in your post too.

I would kind of like to have the video right here though. Do you know any ways of doing that? Sorry, but I think that would be better.

I will not be posting this review for at least another month. This is because I believe my laser may be defected. This is the first laser I've ever had, but for 130mW, I can't even pop a balloon that has a black dot on it with new batteries. Would someone with experience tell me that if it can't do this, if it's defective or not? Thanks

Can you give us more specifics? The pulsar series has worse divergence than their green counterparts, so if you're lasing from a few feet, it could be less effective. Also, keep in mind that red will appear about 3 or so times less bright to human eyes than green, even if they are the same mW. One more thing that I assume you are aware of is that your laser will only burn greens and blues and blacks well, whereas a green laser will burn reds and oranges and blacks.

I think the focal point is at 9 feet with the Pulsar?
Shoot me if I'm wrong.
Btw, you wont feel it sting your skin as the wavelength goes very well together with your flesh-colour, so it not the same absorbtion-properties.
Try to sharpie a black dot on your skin and you will feel it But be carefull, I took my overpowered 125mW (142mW) to my skin for such a long time (Ignoring the pain - Selfcontrol <3) that I got 3 big blisters _________________ WickedLasers, change name on the Executive series!

Haha! I did the same exact thing- after the first 10 or so seconds it stop hurting, I'm pretty sure it just fried the nerves, because I still can't feel anything on one little small part of my arm. Yours is 142mW, so it probably hurt a bit more than my 95.
I have no idea why I (we) did that though- I mean really? It's a pretty pointless idea! |

I had a Pulsar 130 before the Pro series came to be. It's focal point can be anywhere from 9' to 40' apparently, but it sure would burn the crud out of my skin and I'm as white as they come. It would pop balloons just as fast (if not faster) than my Fusion from 15 feet. If you can't feel the burn on your skin then there is a problem, I sent my Pulsar back to WL twice and there were very good about keeping me a happy customer.

Haha, feels good to know I'm not alone
It was not really any point in doing it.
But it was a quite interesting experiment though
Btw, I DON'T reccomend anyone doing the same! _________________ WickedLasers, change name on the Executive series!

Hmm what kind of batteries are you using? I heard that lithium batteries kill the diode. It should DEFINITELY be able to pop balloons with that cap set you said you bought
