That seems to fit how the pain feels. It seems like there is an aching sensation deeper into the tissue than the stinging green beam

Wrong person!! Luke has turned to the dark side and using a PPL!!! Then so am I at the moment!!
Actually, we are using both so call it an in-between and a tie at this point. At least the Wicked is still beaming and burning at the moment and as soon as I get the new diode in the PPL and bury the wife in the back yard life will be good!!
Kidding about the wife, old hag ought to be in here shortly... Witch will probably be ragging and kicking on me when she does get in.

The release of the 150mW pulsar from wicked has compelled me to up the anty with my 225mW RED and do some additional mods. I think I am done tweaking on this unit. It is now almost a foot long. I extended the casing, pushing out the collimator to the end of the unit. I did this in order to increase its burning capabilities. As the beam propogates through the extended housing, it gets larger and larger in diammeter. It reaches its maximum diammeter (diammeter of the laser case) and then hits a MASSIVE colimator lens at the tip. This makes the adjustable "waist" of the beam, very very tiny. I can get the dot down to about 1mm @ 20ft. It still has full adjustable focus so I can still retain a nice low divergence beam, or focus the beam spot on a target at various distances.
