I was a little suprised that I didn't get any instructions or any spec sheets or anything with my Nexus.
not even instructions on which way batteries are inserted.

just wondering if anyone received anything like that with theirs. i'm thinking my one probabaly fell out when packing it or something.

To my knowledge the unit just ships with the box, wooden case and laser inside. This is how all my units arrived, batteries are inserted (-) end towards the internal spring.

I've received the same items as well.

Don't worry though it will not cause any damage if you put them in the wrong way, the chip board has reverse polarity protection. However you do get a moment of sheer frieght that the laser is not working.

No offence to anyone but basic electronics knowledge tells you that nearly all manufactures design it so the negative side of the battery always touches the spring. Its easy to remember because if you think about the + side has a little knob that might get caught in the spring... I doubt that’s why the design exists but its a easy reminder. Wink
