AHHHH okay, I checked the tracking number today in school and it had DELIVERED! Longest day of school ever!

The laser is working PERFECTLY and I am not going to try lithiums in it again. Laughing The pulsar seems EASILY comparable to my 15mW...much brighter than the laser pulsar I had. It even gives me bad sunspots looking at the dot!

First impressions...

Wow. This thing is soooo bright, and in the dark the beam is just...much much brighter than the old one. I'm thinking atleast 150-180mW range. I can see the beam from the side easily in a dark room, but in the light it's a little harder unless looking towards the aperature (not into the laser, just looking near where it's coming from)

Also..I'm very impressed with wicked's new shipping methods!

(now that's what I call) Packaging:

(real tight fit in lots of foam!)

Nice job wicked. Another happy customer. If the digital camera was working I'd try and get some beam shots Sad sadly all I have now is a webcam..

Only experiments done so far: Burned a hole in a black radioshack plastic bag...3 seconds without lense and theres a nice fat hole Smile I'll keep you updated.

Yep, Steve said all the executive style lasers are shipped in 3 inches of foam now and all the spyders are shipped in 6 inches of foam.

Plus, the 90mW that came for me today (shhh..it won't be here long...just don't ask Razz) was surrounded by foam too.

The 90mW is very impressive too though, I burned a hole in a trash bag 10 feet away! Burns anything black instantly plus...soo bright.

Nice to hear a happy result and thanks for the picture of the packaging too. At least i know when i order my fusion i will be reassured that it will take any knock that Mr postman gives it, and i'm sure steve will have less worries about damaged lasers being returned too Very Happy

Looks good for the outside of the box, but was the laser itself in any padding?

Nope, not in the WL wooden box.

EDIT: Finally got to go outside and let my eyes adjust to the darkness...Red beam piercing through the sky. Awesome.

Your replacement pulsar. Was it still under warranty or did you have to pay for the replacement Question Question

It died on him soon after he got it. He seems to believe it was the e2 lithiums that killed the diode because right when he put them in it died.
