well, once again I was looking for carbonfiber cloth (to use and dope for "free" heli parts on the run, or something like that, if you can find a link (to the harderner) I'd be greatly thankful) and found a few good links but no doping... so I put in "carbon fiber cloth doping" and what do you know, a way to create plasma in your microwave with common materials! though I can't recomend ANY of this, nor verify it, it's interesting none the less, and may be even more so if any of you actually find it's real!

PS: I hear plasma does interesting things when electromagnetic forces are applied... _________________

WOAH! Sounds so awesome! Just need to make sure I don't screw over the microwave, seeing as it's a new house! _________________

Put in a pyrex plate or dish then put the match in, no harm should come of the microwave, just some weird plasma phoenomina, but, I don't condone this. I say pyrex because it's heat-proof and microwaveable. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/ktorres19805/Gothic.html?1143175597531

Maybe I can help, although I don't reccomend this outside of a controlled laboratory. The easiest way to get some interesting plasma comes from electromagnetic excitation. Inside the space, you need a mixture of gasses. Those gasses turn into a plasma when exposed to electromagnetic energy eminated from coils most often. So you need special gasses and some source of electromagnetic energy. _________________ _______________________=^=;;;;;;;;;

this wouldn't be too hard to try if you had an old microwave you're wanting to get rid of, then, take it out side and try it.
I was wondering however, what CAN you do with plasma? _________________

From what I've read, plasma is like the 3 fundamental states of matter (Solids, Gases, and liquids) however this is a fourth stage, a stage in which ions are excised into gases... I don't know if you can do much with it at all, it seems to look best as those electric spheres seen in Spencers or in Marco Nero's website. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/ktorres19805/Gothic.html?1143175597531

| You can make plasma with grapes too. |

| Skinless is right, you just cut a grape along the "equator", but leave a small piece of skin. You then stick it in the microwave, and you get plasma. Don't try it in your brand new microwave though. |
