Anything other then removing the end cap to clean the lens will result in the voiding of the Warranty your laser. The methods listed in various posts to improve the divergence of the laser beam are not something that is covered under Wickeds Warranty.

The removing of the danger label may result in the voiding of any Warranty, at Wickedlasers discretion. Not only is it required on the device by law, it should be treated just as you would a seal.

This is a general disclaimer that I think needs to be mentioned before people absorb all the information posted through these forums.

What if you remove stuff, but then put it back and it is exactly the same?

Void, it's still tampering, and besides, it can't be EXACTLY the same can it? Wink

my suggestion, don't touch ANYTHING unless you don't care about the warranty, or, get steve's sayso that it won't void the warranty.

What if you lose your little warning sticker? Every time i've owned a laser pointer, i always have the label fall off or soemhow dissapear. I have not had this happen yet, but in the future i plan on getting a laser from wicked lasers, and want to know teh ins and outs of the system here.

With proper care the label should not fall off. I've had a couple laser from Wicked since about August or September last year, the label and laser is still in mint(as new) condition. As long as you are storing the laser in its case when not in use(or carrying around), the label should last for years.

The label itself is like a seal, sorta like computer companies use a small seal over the seams of a computer case that reads warranty void if removed. The label itself is required there by law, so there's really no reason to tamper with it anyway.

If your Warning seal comes off. Wicked will send you some replacements for free. Just email them telling them what happened, and what kind you need, and they will send them to you via snail mail.

Is the snail mail replacement label true? Because my label won't let you read the mw anymore... first a clear coating rubbed off then the rest... I blame humidity.
