ooooo how exciting it is indeed!
This will be my first purchase from WL, and by the looks of it, it wont be my last. It all seemed a bit sketchy at first, I still wont be convinced until the laser is in my hand.
Does anyone have any suggestions when it comes to taking care of your laser? Cleaning, storage, maintenance, etc. What would be the best batteries to use for it? I understand the e2's are good, what about rechargable? What about usage of the laser. How long is to long for the beam to be active? Should I cool the laser before using again? What not to do with the laser (besides safety)?
I think there should be some kind of post regarding these issues all nicely summed up .
Thanks! |

There were several posts on this but I can't seem to find it now. I remember Nero gave us a nice list of what to do's.
If you're going to carry your laser in your pocket make sure, you place a little tape at the tip so that dust or stuff don't go inside.
e2 Lithiums are pretty good. I got rechargeable AAAs too but I have yet to try them. My understanding is that the output is different than lithiums and thus burning stuff might be tricky.
The beam is instant. It flickers once or twice at the beginning but it seems it's normal with these lasers. I have used my laser for up to 1 min and the heating wasn't an issue. |
