Note: Minimal Smoke was used to assist in beam visibility. But I mean MINIMAL... I did not 'smoke up' the room. The camera's exposure metering was locked on the bright area of the nearest prism for each shot. This means that the brightest three lasers were too bright for the camera under automatic conditions and so the camera's light metering system reduced the light levels in order to capture the details. In a nutshell, this means that the last three shots were too bright for the camera which then adjusted itself internally, darkening the exposure slightly in order to capture details.
