my pulsar has arrived!
god, the beam is tight, it is more than i expected. lovely packaging, nice carton skin, attractive diamond box with perfect shock-foam to survive the long journey. for the unit itself, well, if angels use lasers in heaven that is what they would use. it's simply beautiful!
wickedlasers, you're incredible. well deserve the number 1 slot in laser suppliers!
until the next red comes along, bye, and wish you all a happy new year. _________________

alas, my skills in taking laser beams isn't all that good. it's hard to give them the correct exposure you see so easily done by nero_design. therefore, i'm not going to attempt to top his good work. but, believe me, the pulsar line is mesmerizing. each time i switch it on i get an involuntary grin on my face.
ah, how the littlest things in life can make a grown man weep with joy! good bye, and wish you all happy posting _________________

i've made some pretty cool pics with my pulsar. here are some ideas: Fill your bathroom sink with hot water, and shine the beam through the steam (possibly into the mirror too). another cool thing i did (this pic was accepted into the gallery) was take a pot of boiling water outside at night, and wave the lasers through the steam and take a picture with a long exposure camera _________________

Very cool stuff. I am thinking about buying a pulsar to compliment my spyder. I wonder if a more powerful red will be coming out in the near future..hmmm.. _________________ Traded my Spyder 300mW for a BLUE Spyder:) |

nexus did hint at it. i think a 200 or 500mW red would be awsome, and much cheaper than any green spyder (probably by half for the same mW) _________________

last few days was foggy as hell and when you shine a 55mw green into the sky you could see areas of brightness, I guess that represents fog densitiy? Also the beam seems to stop aruptly like 150 feet up or so, will it make it to the clouds?? _________________ Dr Evil: Fire the "Laser"!

nice pics! my brother STILL won't accept that you can see the beam without "delayed exposure" or without smoke, perhaps you could show a vid outside, at night, walking around so there's no chance it could be smoke, is that possible? _________________

tc, although smoke was not visible, there were smoke particles in the air supplied by "smoker" friends ^(chronic cases).
at night, outdoors, the red line is always visible since the atmosphere has more moisture after sunset. i fired the pulsar straight up very briefly outdoors and the line is brighter that it is indoors. i believe in london it's illegal to fire visible laser outside without authorization. anyone see me doing it then i will have a lot of explaining to do. so sorry, i can't take a video for you, i don't even have a camcorder.
the camera doesn't do the red line justice. seen by the naked eye, it is a beautiful thin red line rather than the coarse beam you see in the images i uploaded. i can't get the exposure right for the red. it always end up either under or overexposed. with the naked eye, the line looks like the image below, but in red and very tight. _________________
