Can you take a picture of your laser firing a dot on a dark wall or dark board of some sort? It's very hard to go by images taken outside. The beam divergence is <1.5mrad, meaning at 1 meter it will be <1.5mm in diameter. At 20 meters it will be <30mm in diameter(or 3 cm), at 40 meters the dot will be 60mm in diameter(6 cm).

Ok i have sended the laser back.....
they day before i sended it i took a fairly good picture of the dot(blob) at a distance of 100 Meters, the dot-blob itself had a diameter surtenly of 1 meter
The laser was shined by a friend of mine, ho was aproxx 100 meters(according to the dash of the car to be fairly precise) away from me because i standed right infront of where the dot touched the surface whilst he was shining it.
the camera was hols stabel, and th laser fairly stable.....

So, How big should the "Dot" be a 100 yards? That dot looks oblong and strange......my Nexus at approx 100 yards has a spot that is perfectly round and about 12 to 13inchs in diameter! Does that sound right? Cheers Dale

I got a movie of it to.....
it was shined agian at a distance of 100 meters ( 328 foot) or (109.36 yards).
on a round pillar below a highway. now my friend was filming it and i was shining it from that 100 meters away. it is surtenly a meter across.. he was standing practically in front of it, and i geus it was even bigger.
Mediaplayer should play the file.

That's a good video to illustrate what you were talking about. I'm glad it was replaced.
