| The captain of a cargo plane from Aberdeen was targeted by the beam while he was manually landing, which caused the plane to drop 400ft on Tuesday. |
That's serious stuff, image a pilot doing that with an altitude below 400ft... |

Was just about to post this
Idiots ruining our hobby. They're even talking of banning them in the UK, and already have taken down eBay sales (good?) |

| Why are people so tempted to point a laser on a plane? What is so interesting about that, its like when a pigeon is attracted to a shiny object... |

| We just had an incident in Kentucky last month, a commercial airline co-pilot was blinded for six seconds. I ordered three lasers the next week, just in case of a ban. |

| One time a family friend asked me to see my Photonic Disrupter (100mW) at night so I showed them. Of course I they asked I gave them all the usual warnings. As they were shinning it in the air, a plane happened to fly right out from behind a building that he was shining it onto. He didn’t notice it but I did and without saying a thing I snatched it out of his hands. This put him off a little bit but after I explained he understood. I'm sure I know why my heart skipped a beat once I saw the plane but man, I'm glad he didn’t have that childish impulse some of these "kids" have to shine lasers at aircrafts. |
