The soldering iron I currently have is a total piece. Every time I try to solder anything electronic, the solder never even melts and the component(especially laser diodes ) cooks to death. Its not the solder, I've tried several brands, all with the same result. Any suggestions would be appreciated. _________________ \"I have astigmatism. try google shopping search for soldering needle.
It is a 12V 8W Soldering iron, perfect for small things that shouldn't get to much heat _________________ green 3~8mw ebay laser

My google must be broken, I'm not searching through 80 pages of results. My sincere thanks anyway. _________________ \"I have astigmatism. My optometrist says it comes from years of doing stand-up comedy and

| If you're still looking for a good soldering iron I suggest the Weller WESD51 soldering station. Heats up fast and maintains its temperature well. I've used it for surface mount soldering (with a smaller tip I purchased) and it worked perfectly. It costs around $130 USD though. Not sure if you're willing to spend that much. |
