| I really want to make a homemade laser projector/ show object... One that you shine the green laser through a diffraction gratings and out comes multiple beams.. I have see some you tube videos of people using a motor to spin them.. Any ideas on how to make them and where to buy the diffraction gratings? Cheap is always good if it works... |

you can buy a pair of 1000/13500 lined gratings off ebay for around $10.
you can easily attach this to a motor for awesome effects. |

Use a small piece of a CD for a mirror. It doesn't give much lines, but if you use two it could look very good. Still, this is the lost cost solution |
