I have found a concave lens in portable cd players. Also you can get a cheap red laser for about 5 bucks all over the place and they have a concave lens in them that will probally fit right into your laser but there normaly plastic. Even though there plastic it will intensify the laser beam heat at its thinest point......normally at about 1 foot. After that first foot the beem will become huge. |

aren't those convex lenses? Convex lenses have a positive focus length, and that are the ytpe of lenses in cd players. Concave lenses have a negative focus length.
