Trichros can combine red, green, and blue beams to make white, but they are somewhat rare and expensive. However, since beamsplitters can also be used to combine two beams, why not use two beamsplitters to combine three beams into an RGB white laser? This would be a fairly inexpensive and easy build, assuming that my "design" works.

Take a look...what do you think?

beamsplitters are usually ment for one wavelength of light. I think you need 2 dichroic filters.

oh I think red and green lasers exists in low powered pen style version. It may be fairly unexpensive to build exept that blue lasers are expensive. It won't be a problem aquiring high powered red and green to combine them due to their moderate price.

Combining them with beamsplitters won't be a problem, the wavelenght difference is neglectable, but the difficulty is to align the lasers correctly (perpendiculary) to the beam splitter to have a near single mode.

You may also need to glue the three lasers firmly on a board, so that the exiting beam will stay as it is. I don't think it will ever become pen sized, but rather, at best, like a big mag-light, like the video contest entry for WL, which showed a R-G-Bluray laser.

Turn the blue/red laser 90 degrees CCW/CW so you can drop the unnecessary mirrors.
