Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting my first laser soon.. I was reading reviews on the Wicked Laser Elite 150 and wondering if it burns as good as they say it does and is a decent laser for the money?

Thanks in advance! Very Happy

I am extremely happy with my Elite 150+.
If you are worried about fingerprints on its finish, thats about the only thing, But I wipe it down alot.
It is lighter in weight than my core, and bright as I want for now.
I am waiting for the Spyder III to come out. Cool

These lasers are WL's latest product and are extremely powerful. I would suggest the Elite 150. But remember these are not combat proof and extreme care should be taken in handling and using these or any laser for that matter. If you use your laser like a gentlemen and treat it as you would a high end digital camera or with great respect in how you use it, it will definately be worth the money and last a very long time.

Not many handheld lasers will last long - when kids take it to school for show and tell or stuffs it in a pocket while horse playing or playing sports with it and carrying it around like a life support system...LOL But if you are concerned with quality, it's probably one of the best portables for its size and classification.

Regards

One more question... Will I have any problems ordering this because I live in the states?

Hey, I was wondering the same thing about the United States too, so I already had this info ready. Wicked Lasers don't comply with the regulations here in the U.S., such as a 2 second startup delay, lens shutter, and so on. The FAQ page on the techlasers website will tell you that all of their lasers are regulated and are 100% legal in the U.S.

However the 5mw Wicked Lasers, such as the CORE and the Evolution 5mw, are legal, because they are class IIIa. Very Happy

Hope this helps! Smile

They don't have to be. These are sold as O.E.M. even though they are already packaged as a working handheld. If you arent going to use them for a O.E.M. project then its the responsibility of the importer to use them properly, not the exporter.

haha mate i just ordered my 35mW laser and imported it into Australia. Its currently illegal to import into Victoria (has been for a few years now)but i knew Wickedlasers would be smart on the declaration Wink

Its becoming a country wide ban in around 30 days so i wana try and get the most powerful laser i can afford before its too late Twisted Evil

The executive is matte right? and on the pulsar you dont see fingerprints because it's silver-colour.
That is very important because I have a Samsung E900 mobile which is like the Elite and when you put it in a pocket with keys, you have ugly scratches before you know it. The Elite is to be put on a red soft fleece-cusion on a stand and to be shined with and then cleaned.
It is, really, an elite among lasers. So for a starting laser I should take an Infiniti or an Executive.

Always use protection for both eyes, and your laser, wear laser goggles, and use the dragon case, never let a friend use it, they are not toys,
