you can get a 38mA current regulated driver here:
http://rkcstr.googlepages.com/home
it fits perfectly right inside the module as well. you can also get 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 or 400mA _________________ Nexus >114mW (probably the best Nexus known to man)*SOLD*

| I see lot of you guys bought ps3 blu-ray drive sleds for the blue diode. What are you doing with the remains of the sled? I'm looking for the 2 small glass cubes out of them, the beam splitters, and maybe other optics. |

why bother with 10-20mw ps3 diodes when you can get a PHR-803T diode which have been putting out about 120mW! _________________ resistance is futile (if <1 ohm)

at what current (and what current above threshold level) ? I'm interested |

50mA is threshold current, for 120mW (after acrylic lens) push it to 150mA.
Edit: I didn't see how old this thread was...oops |

| At what current should the diode run for long life? I'm still considering buying this diode, but I'm still building a decent allround driver. |

For a guaranteed good lifetime I would stay at 125mA, but I haven't heard of any problems at 150mA. |
