Hello!
I bought an EVO 55mW a week ago and I'm hooked.
I'm now ready to order the P125 and have a few questions that I'm sure have been asked before.
Is it an unreal expectation to think I'm going to be able to easily pop black and green balloons from 2 or 3 feet with no mods or lenses?
What is does Duty Cycle refer to? does 100 seconds on and 10 off mean that it's best to run the laser in 100 second intervals, or does it mean that for every 100 seconds of use there should be at least 10 seconds rest?
I've read a few posts that make it seem like the pulsar has been redesigned...or perhaps some of the parts redesigned. It is a good laser at this point? Any huge short comings knowing that I'm not expecting it to burn paper and plastic without a lens?
Thanks in advnace!! |

Thanks for the answers.....Yes to those who wondered.....yes,I have the goggles. I will admit that I did not order them at the the same time at the EVO, but I ordered them the day the EVO arrived. I had no idea that the laser would be so freakin bright.
With out the goggles I didn't even try to burn point at anything up close....just tree tops off in the distance.
This is one of the neatest things I've ever owned. I built a lens for the evo and I can light matches and makes the coolest little puffs of smoke on anything I point it at from about 6 inches away.
Can I expect similar or better burning from the 125 with a lens?
thanks again! |

I'm sold. The order has been placed. I ordered the p125, blue goggles and two dragon cases.
I remember getting a red laser pointer online for like 75 bucks years ago. I hadn't ever seen one at the time and all my friends were amazed. I remember thinking...man wouldn't it be cool if this little thing could burn something..
I can see that I'm gonna be chucking out quite a bit of $$ on this hobby.
Thanks again! |
