Guys and colors... I don't see Fuschia, I see pink  Just for example... lol

Digging up a rather old post here...but.
405nm is a strange color indeed. My Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player and my Toshiba HD-A20 HD-DVD player both have them.
It is a confusing color to the eyes. If you took the player apart and watched it play a movie, you would see that it is powerful enough to be seen through the disc. But I don't recommend staring at it.
