Can't believe I never saw this website before. I thought I was all alone in the world of handheld lasers!
My name's Tom (call me Event  ) and I live in the Niagara area of Ontario, Canada. I'm currently a first year photonics engineering student so I get to muck around with lasers all day long.
I've got a Wicked Fusion and I use it regularly to impress people at night. The best was when I hit an apartment building 3 miles away and lit it up like nothing, resulting in a stream of amazed profanities from the guys behind me. 
Anyways I just wanted to say hi before everyone is like "Who the heck is this fool?"

Event Horizon has been my handle for the last 6 years, and since I used to be huge into online gaming, I always was referred to on voice chat as "Event." As a result, I am starting to like the name Event better then my real name! It just has more zing to it.

A bit of everything. Started with SOCOM series on the PS2, moved to the PC with Joint Operations and expansion, became slightly famous with a series of stunt videos, then switched to BF2 when it was released, stuck with that until BF2142, and been at that since. CS:S thrown on top of the whole thing for good measure. Also been in 3 clans during that time, one for socom, one for Joint Ops, and one for the BF series that recently disbanded. Now I'm a lone wolf college student lying dormant until the next big game comes along
I'd have a very impressive gaming resume if I were to actually type it out.

Welcome to the board. You're far from alone in being into high-powered portable lasers (and any kind of laser)!
And you can call me "Schrecken" - short for Schrecken Licht, which means "scary light", something many lasers produce.
