Oh, who the hell are you kidding? It's totally my fault because I bought that 5W Spectra-Physics Innova 90 multi line Argon/Ion on e-bay and have been shining it upwards for over a year, heating the atmosphere...you remember that three phase model I wanted almost two years ago? You should see my electric bill.
No, I'm kidding - I didn't buy the laser...if I did, it would still be sitting out in my garage collecting dust like my other Argon/Ion laser is.
so, it's been a while guys - how have you all been?
Oh, right – the topic, global warming. No I don’t think its our fault entirely…I think the planet goes through periodic changes throughout it’s life – it’s done this a few times by now. Though I think we've contributed a little bit to the problem in the last 100 years with heavy industry.

I wrote a whole 10 minute speech several years ago, using all I knew (at that time) to refute global warming. The earth is getting warmer, but, not because of us, and, not as much as we are told. The urban island heat effect plays a great role in this religon. I call global warming a religon, because often, if you disobey its rules, or speak up against it, you can be (metaphorically) excommunicated. Anyone who does not believe is considered a heritic. I have tons of data now, my speech has only a little bit of information I know. If you wish to PM me for it, please do, OR watch this movie- its basicly what my speech is, just, alot better and longer: "the great global warming swindle" It used to be on youtube for free- dont know where it went.
EDIT: And Al Gore is so much more "anti-green" then the average American. |

Personally, I believe in the new world order type of deal where its partially funded by a Global Carbon Tax due to so called global warming thus uniting all nations using incrementalism to form one global economy. Next up will be the north american union, then the rest of the world will follow with these multi national unions and like he said, Global warming is a sort of religion because in the future when those who refute it are casted out as crazy cooks, those will be the same ones casted out because they believe that this type of gov is going to take place.... But is deffinatly okay to believe that the amount of CO2 that is getting pumped into the air is bad, this is logical and i defiantly believe in funding of new programs to reduce this. Too much of ANYTHING is bad. _________________

It's just a big political hoax that greenpeace commies (Al Gore, or otherwise.) are taking advantage of to get rich. Some volcanos in the past few centuries, have EACH put more CO2 in the atmosphere than 500 years worth of man's pollution, even when it was at it's worst.
I agree that pollution levels should probably be reduced, but it is not nearly as big of a problem as some people would like us to think.

Luckely, it seems to be quite civil here, though. Hopefully it will stay this way. |

OK, time 4 me 2 put in my $0.02 I live in INDIANA & when i was a kid, there was a 9.6 Richter scale earthquake in Prince William Sound, ALASKA This happened in (i think) JAN. '64. The meteorologists said that it was gonna mess with the weather 4 the rest of the year & possibly the next 5 years Well they were right. Within 2 wks. NW IN. got hit by a blizzard that still holds the record for snowfall in a 24hr. period. Would U believe 39in. in 24hrs I was 10 yrs. old & i can remember my dad & i going out every hr. 2 try 2 keep up with it. Pretty soon there was just no place to put it We were throwing snow 6ft. in the air to make it to the top of the snow piles.PWEW I worked my butt off, but got out of school 4 2 wks.(YAY) Anyway it seems like ever since THAT blizzard, & a smaller 1 in '76 that the snow amounts have gotten less & less each yr. but we still get the icy cold temps. Is this due 2 global warming , i don't know but SOMETHING is sure playing games with the weather We have a saying here in INDIANA, IF U DON'T LIKE THE WEATHER, WAIT 5 MINUTES & IT WILL CHANGE _________________
