it'd be a lot better if it were more portable though.
whats the point of having it as a second display for your laptop if you can't take it around where you go?
it would only be practical to use on a desktop, but then you also have to share your cpu with it.
I see it as a very nice concept that needs some more work done to it. _________________ What a 15mw can do to your eyes in an instant (not me): http://www.milankarakas.org/pub/Eye_injury/Eye_injury.html

I suppose this is true spd2last, they might release smaller screens the size and thickness of your laptop screen so that it will become more portable. I love the fact that it doesn't involve another graphics interface by utilising a virtual interface, saving your cpu.
Im not sure spd2last but can you do the same thing with a laptop and a second monitor using software and the monitor output port currently on laptops??? _________________ Beam divergence formula:

you don't need software to be able to do it. But most laptops, if not all, have an S-Video out port where depending on your graphics card, can use your tv or whatever the S-Video is connected to as a second display. Some laptops also have VGA ports and the newer ones are coming out with DVI ports. I usually connect my laptop to a tv through the S-Video and 3.5mm to rca audio splitter to watch movies on my tv, and can have that as either my primary display or as a secondary _________________ What a 15mw can do to your eyes in an instant (not me): http://www.milankarakas.org/pub/Eye_injury/Eye_injury.html

So in other words, you can do exactly as seen in the link where you can move an icon from your laptop screen over to the TV screen or other monitor?? _________________ Beam divergence formula:

yes, but, it takes a serial cable, and it's a pain to set up. Also sucks up the graphics card...
I can't wait for the O-led screens to be finally mass produced, they're so close! _________________
