These are violet GaN diodes.

It doesn't mention anything about its output power though.

No, those are in the 440-460nM range.

Hi,

What makes you say that, I have yet to find a datasheet for the device, but Blu-Ray/HD-DVD run at 405nm. So if that is what these are for I would not expect them to be 440-460nm though if they are then I want some now. Razz

442nm is my standard for Blue. I find 488nm a little to Teal for my taste, 473 is better, but 445nm looks like a clear sky from a high altitude... Beautiful. Of course I'm not thinking public display either, 500mW of 442nm would be ungodly expensive, but for a home display of my own...

Now what would be cool is if you could heavily temperature tune these Twisted Evil . See the whole range of blue with a TEC/heatsink! (no, not really practical but I can always dream)
