| Obviously the cost will eventually come down on Blue lasers, but don't you think with all the demand for blue lasers (for various uses) that the price would be coming down quicker? |

I think that blu-ray diodes will come down because of the high demand for blu-ray players. Blue DPSS won't come down that easy. Maybe a couple of years, I hope.. 
But if I had $1000 now, I would buy it now. I really wouldn't wait. Cause I love blue.  |

I have 2 green lasers and am certainly interested in a blue one.
I do yet understand the price difference, but would like to before
I buy a blue one. |
