Before participating at Laser Community, please remember these simple rules and tips:
Laser Community hosts the largest forum for lasers and portable lasers and is the ideal source for laser information, recommendations and helpful tips. Laser Community strives to offer a community environment for laser enthusiasts to freely communicate and exchange laser knowledge, opinions on WL products, its subsidiaries and suggestions regarding new products and features.
We have many administrative professionals, volunteers and enthusiasts who are present and interact with Laser Community. We do not allow our members to berate community members, companies and our administrators. We ask you to understand that Laser Community is made up of people just like you and if you wish them to respect your point of view, then please be ready to extend that same courtesy.
Please read the following rules and become familiar with them.
1. Do NOT post technical support questions about you're purchase on Laser Community as they will be moved or deleted at our discretion. This avoids rumors, false information, bad advise and could render you're warranty being void. Always contact the manufacturer for shipping and service issues. This guarantee's the best possible solution to you're support questions and keeps Laser Community running smoothly as an international information exchange bulletin board.
2. We do not allow flame wars and we do not subscribe to a policy of free speech. We can and do moderate and/or remove posts at our discretion. However, we maintain a policy that can be summed up in that of "treat others as you would like them to treat you".
3. We can and do close accounts of those who break our site policies and rules. We do not guarantee that we will write and give a warning, sometimes we do and other times, we do not. There are hundreds of thousands of people who visit Laser Community over the course of a year and we simply are too small a team to guarantee that we can always take the time to explain every policy in detail. If you treat others with courtesy and respect, you are on safe ground here at Laser Community, if you begin insulting others and write things like "What an idiot!", "These products sucks", etc., then chances are you will find your account closed eventually.
4. Please refrain from advertising competitor names and products of any nature on this forum. This includes posting sales or requesting trades of any sort including lasers and laser-related items. This forum is for educational purposes only. No selling or trading. Any members who attempt to make economic gains via sales, promo codes, soliciting bargains and directing others to auction style websites are subject to moderation and subsequent suspension of you're account. This protects your interests and ours.
5. Promo codes and affiliate links are intended for use on personal or business homepages and should not be advertised on these forums through posting or PMs. Links which re-direct forum browsers directly to a promo code of affiliate link (or to a webpage which has the sole purpose of displaying such a code) are unacceptable.
6. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws foreign and domestic. Claims of action, anger, and calls to action against "any" company or person(s) will be removed. User Names / Avatars / Signatures should NOT contain any of the above.
7. Do not double post and thread bump. Double posting, thread bumping will be edited and or deleted at our discretion.
8. Leet speak/3l1te sp34k, this is highly annoying, posts containing any Leet/Net speak will be treated as spam. Please avoid using slang or abbreviations.
9. Private Messaging is for personal use only - using it as a mass-marketing tool is forbidden and will result in account being suspended or terminated.
10. Off topic threads (or any other for that matter) may be deleted without any reason.
11. Miss-use of products i.e.; Threads that contain remarks such as burning insects and or animals, lacing aircraft or any other act of delinquent or felony behavior will be moved, edited or deleted without any prior warning. Keep the industry safe by conducting yourself accordingly.
12. As a user, you agree to have any information entered to be stored in our database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
