I wasn't asking for free samples though... I was asking for the ones advertised for $85, If I was asking for free samples, well... I could understand it more, but when I'm going to pay???

Really? Last time I asked 6 months ago, and 50mW of 442nm was running $3000, and that was on a sample request made from an ivy league university email.
I might consider $400.

Consiter? A blue DPSS unit producing 50mW costs at least $650. They can easily cost a thousand or more if you don't shop around.

Hi,
They are talking bare diode, no module. You need to build everything else, and not kill your uber dollar test diode in the process. That said, 442nm is an awful pretty blue.
