Here's a thread for LC members to point out spam threads to the moderators.
Instructions for LC members wanting to report spam-threads:
Post your link.
If you spot another thread, don't make another post, edit the new link into your existing post.
This isn't for complaining about threads made by genuine members, but for the reporting of threads made by dimwit spammers... Those posters who aren't here posting about lasers, but are here for the purpose of posting links to their own garbage in the hope that either someone will visit their site, or search engines will find the links and increase their rankings.
Please try to check that the thread you're reporting hasn't already been reported. There are no prizes for posting the most links.
No free lasers, sadly...
Once the spam-threads have been removed by a moderator, they will clear this thread back down to this one original post in order for the cycle to start once again.

No it's not, if he had his referral link in his signature, now THAT would be against the rules. _________________ >>Click here to go to my laser userbars site!<<

Actually King K.....there aren't supposed to be any PM me/Code/solicitations in member signitures. Code solicitation rules have been in place for some time. Granted...."pm me for a discount" isn't as bad as some of the rude, pushy stuff thats went on in the past but, any solicitation always leads to trouble.........better to keep it all off the forum. _________________ Best Regards Chargerman

It is, I've been PM'd by ^ (Chargerman) that I had to remove the 'PM me for a discount' from my sig. _________________

I believe this says it all..........straight from the "Forum rules"
-Links to codes in signatures.
In an order to keep the spamming to a minimum, links posted in signatures can no longer be misleading or focus primarily on agressive advertising of promo codes.
While it's ok to have your promo code on your page, people should not be mislead there from the wording in your link. And links which re-direct forum browsers directly to a Promo Code (or to a webpage which has the sole purpose of displaying such a code) are likewise unacceptable.
Pages will be determined suitable or not for linking in the forum on a case by case basis. If you get a PM, you will need to have your page comply with the forum rules.
While most "pm me for a discount" in signatures are not url links, it's still agressive advertising of promo codes It always seems to lead to forum members spamming other forum members to use their code for wicked purchases. I was told the purpose of the code/discount......wicked bucks system was not only to extend price breaks to current members but.......more importantly.....to generate outside interest and sales to Wicked Lasers. All of us "Members" know about the refferal sytem, lets use our codes to bring NEW people to the website/forum. _________________ Best Regards Chargerman

Just flying by....
The 'PM me for a discount' line in my sig refers to a discount offered to LC members when buying my laser-art posters, not in reference to a WL discount code....
I'll be back soon, I hope...
