bumping this because I also am somewhat concerned about this,

I couldn't imagine gettinged arrested or anything

but the very worst that could happen is a 1000 dollar fine?

Nobody has ever reported having that happen?

Actually I had my first laser from DL confiscated and recieved a 5 page note from customs telling me no-no on the IIIb >500mW lasers I was attempting to recieve Laughing They just send you a letter telling you that you can pay 250$ and have your case reviewed to try to keep it or just forfiet it and get in no trouble. But that was Dragon and Wicked does not have a problem with this so you are safe Very Happy

Why does one manufacture have an issue and another does not? This seems odd.

As soon as the personal laser industry generates enough money (chum) in the water for lawyers (sharks) to think it worthwhile, then this stuff will become an issue. My two cents.
