"MPORTANT EXPERIMENT! Now here is a slightly controversial topic with the Pulsars, and that is battery type. There are a plethora of types and brands, but none other will give you results like energizer lithiums e2's. I swear by them. They will GREATLY increase your output and overall performance. It means the difference between popping balloons at 40ft. or not at all. "
please remove this, we have a sticky that now confirms that we should not use lithium batteries of any type in a pulsar
also this review, even though its good, needs to be updated because the pulsars shipping out now have a different case, optics, and beam diameter _________________ wicked classic 35mw in cni case

sadly, worse. the beam hits the aparture, and there is poor conductivity between the case and module.
the opitcs, and beam diamater are the same, as the insides are exactly the same. read this thread to get the most out of a pulsar..

That is dumb, why would they make them worse? It would have made more sense to leave them alone right?
So you HAVE to mod them? And if you do and they go out you are screwed because the warrantee is void.
What laser is good then? Spyders are buggy, Pulsars are made wrong. Any suggestions? _________________ Opensource Linux handheld emulation, gaming and hacking www.gp32x.com |

uhhum, not really.
sadly all the high powered lasers are sketchy right now. the fusons come in the new case, and i heard horror stories form pseudomen and gadgeteer about them, i think you should just stay with the spyder if you dont want to mod a pulsar.. |

then what has to be done to the laser if anything to get it to do what everyone says it can do ex. balloons, tape, cigarette, burn through paper, matches, ect.
what mod's and is it with taking the risk of messing up??
like that one person that say it pops balloons at 40ft and didn't mod it? |

This guide should be edited to take out the recommendation of the Lithium batteries.
That can very easily confuse a newcomer to Pulsars, or lasers in general. Even though there is a sticky at the top of the board, people may not read that, and may just read this one. _________________ 125mW Fusion - Divergence- 1.0 mRad | TEM00-TEM01* Doughnut mode | 119mW peak, 103 Nominal
