Well, I TRIED to vid last night - got nowhere fast - the coupler is busted where the locking screw goes in, and even with tape and good old super glue holding it together (I used LOTS of tape !) the beam was entering the tube at an angle, and it was NOT very impressive...I DID shoot a video, however, I filmed it for another member of this site (Themuffinman) and he will post it up in this thread soon ! It is showing only the MR green, and a 100mw CNI "battling" it out - yes, my daughter is wearing safety goggles as you can see in the video ! Aw, heck - I will upload the video, but MuffinMan will upload to the site, since I filmed it for him - at his request....Okay - no upload, since WMV isn't allowed - here's the link !

Sorry I couldn't get a comparison shot, Cheyenne - I will be headed off to Lowes SOON to fix it ! |

Nice vid!
I didn't get around to the pic, my friends nabbed me for a Pre-Birthday party last night. Today is my Bday so I doubt I'll get to finding the fog machine and taking pics tonight.
That vid is great. With the fog it looks super birght!

Hi,
Just to keep people from getting confused. The saber in SenKat's video is not a LaserSaber. It is a Master Replicas Lightsaber. LaserSabers do not have sound FX. |

| Liked the older design better, did you run into copyright/licensing issues? |

That's pretty damn cool! Now if you just find a way to incorporate the sound effects! LMAO on the "Star Wars Kid" too! Heres another video (but MUCH better) of some VERY impressive Star Wars stuff (don't want to ruin it by saying what it is....watch it, you'll be impressed! Copy and paste link below.

I, too would like to have some sound effects incorporated with some kind of shock and accelerometer sensor inside. Of course there would be copyright licensing issues. Maybe there can be a sound chip that can have your own sounds recorded to it, or better yet, a usb interface so you can transfar mp3 files of "saber sounds". This would allow for getting around copyright issues.
