Can the IR beam in a laser burn?
For example, if a 532nm 80mw laser was 50mw green and 30mw IR.
Could it still burn? |

Yes, at short distances, the IR light can't be collimated as well and diverges off quickly. _________________

Anything over 15mW. Just like the greens.
It's the same as any light and should be taken MORE seriously because it's invisible. |

It dissipates in the atmosphere very quickly so at close range is when you worry. _________________
