Hey folks, here's a neat trick to try at home. Redlaser+Greenlaser=Yellow laser.....right Question Bluelaser+Redlaser=Purplelaser Shocked Yes.... they are real pictures...not touched up in any way. I used a regular mirror with a tiny spot scratched off the backside reflective coating. My 488nm blue Argon is coming from behind the mirror...thru the tiny scratch, with, I would guess, about 10mw or so. My 200mw sik red diode at 650nm is being reflected off the mirror face. This trick took incredible patience to set up. In fact, I'd almost gave up when I seen a "Hint" of what I was looking for. After great pains in the rear...I got it dialed in Wink ................I hope you all like them Very Happy

Omg Charger that is beautiful... how long did it take to set up? Truely brilliant...

What if you get a green through there too? Do that and you'll be my hero (not like you aren't already Very Happy )

Thanks Rasel....I thought it was kick ars too Laughing It took over an hour to get the "Beams" to combine the way I did it. As you can see....it was a pretty primative attempt, but now that I know it can be done....I will set up a long distance shot and get some more picts and video. My camera bites but hey.....you get the idea. An RGB is what I am ultimately working towards Wink

A purple laser? Definitely not cheap (+$3000), since purple is the combination of red and blue, it is much more expensive, violet lasers are much more affordable, and they will become very cheap soon due to their high demand.

The Blu-Ray Sonar from Wicked Lasers is a violet laser ($1999), but there are other choices such as ripping the diode from a PS3 (you might be able to get the assy for ~$200 on eBay).
