| Owner of a 75mw Dragon! Stings fingers instantly. |
Just curious, what color is your skin? I am absolutely super crazy white pastey so i'm bsically immune to laser fire. I feel warmth after like 2 to 3 seconds. If i mark my arm though, oh man, that's pain. anyway, wondering if i'm the only one who doesn't get burnt by their laser without sharpying myself.
sry for off topic just caught that sig.
um.. yeah.. yellow lasers are tight... cough |
I am very white. Part Irish and danish(and some other stuff)...yeah, Im white
if I am unprotected My arm can sunburn in less than 10 mins in direct sun.
But my laser always fluctuates, sometimes it burns my finger instantly, then other times I can hold it there for a while and nothing.
Its quite unpredictable and annoying, since I cannot determine when it will be at its peak to burn/light matches. But when it is up to spec..it burns, and very good. _________________ 125mW Fusion - Divergence- 1.0 mRad | TEM00-TEM01* Doughnut mode | 119mW peak, 103 Nominal

| Yellow 125MW would be awsome, but blue and green just feel more powerfull. Maybe a really powerfull red would be cool |

| they have to make it about 15mw because thats the least powerful they will sell and that would make it very expensive |

Lol Vic.
If Wicked Lasers is going to sell yellow lasers, I doubt they'd go over 2mW-5mW anyway. This is one of the most inefficient DPSS processes since it is sum frequency mixing between 1064nm and 1342nm, from 500mW of 808nm from the pump diode, you'd be getting around 5mW of 593.5nm light. _________________ >>Click here to go to my laser userbars site!<<

| Well then slap in a 1.2W pump diode and make it look like a Spyder II! |

Talk about expensive and inefficient, it wouldn't be a bad idea either, it's output power could be similar or lower to that of the Spyder II BX (I'd expect it to be around 15mW-20mW).
Lol Spyder II YX.
