First topic, I'm a king, wow. ;P
I don't see why Wicked Lasers doesn't make yellow lasers, why is this? Blue is awesome, sure. But I want a yellow laser which I can use a fog machine on. >:O
Do you think WL should make yellow lasers?

Second post, I'm a quee... Owww... Shut up!
Yeah, I was wondering the same, you should make a poll, in that case I'd vote "Yes".
I want a yellow laser more than a blue laser, I have no idea why...
EDIT: Didn't notice the poll. Luler. _________________ >>Click here to go to my laser userbars site!<<

Luler.
I wouldn't mind having a Blue laser actually, but Yellow seems to be, like... just brighter and more 'rarer' than Blue. You see Blue almost everywhere, PC Mods, Shops, etc... _________________

Yeah, this is the only color wicked is missing, if they make it, they will have the complete set. Imagine, the yellow spyder! _________________

Heya Luler. (Seriously, I didn't notice this poll)
Yeah, that's the case, even though I haven't seen a blue laser or a yellow laser ever (I've only seen green and red), I'd love to have my own "miniature sun", I can't imagine how a yellow laser would look like. _________________ >>Click here to go to my laser userbars site!<<

I will probably be getting a yellow laser for my birthday this year (Jan 21st). I can't wait! _________________

Nice new forum.
It definately is not because they are too expensive. I just don't think yellow lasers have a lot of power right now. Hence the name Wicked Lasers. _________________ Play it like its a bass |

There are other colors possible than yellow, but consider that right now WL seems to barely sell any blue Spyders. Yellow would be even more expensive than blue for less power, and generally isn't as useful as blue (at least blue is good for RGB). Considering that few people feel $300 is cheap enough to spend on the expensive novelty of the yellow pointer, I really don't see what's in it for WL if they make a strong yellow. Would you be purchasing one? If you think so, go check out the prices on some >10mW yellow DPSS lasers .
A while back I did ask about this though and Steve made it sound as if it may be a possibility, but so far WL has proposed many ambitious projects and I've seen few actually turn into results yet (definitely never within their most conservative of deadlines), so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. |

Yellow would be sick.
Hell, they should just make lasers of all main bright colors! _________________ 125mW Fusion - Divergence- 1.0 mRad | TEM00-TEM01* Doughnut mode | 119mW peak, 103 Nominal

I would love a yellow pointer. But prices for 1-5mW are sooo high now! If wicked ever makes one I would get it if it was $200 or less for 10mW or higher. Thats it.
I'd rather own yellow or orange than blue or SONAR due to much higher visiblity factor! |

Most visible color is green. So green is the best.
I don't need a yellow one better have an invisible |

I read somewhere that human eye picks up 555nm the most!. As well as I know that green color is most visible to human eye, fact is that Yellow is right there at 556nm. Of course, every eye is a bit different and there is a contrast against common backgound and medium factor also.
In any case, I think that 125mW yellow would be very much as cool as 125mW Fusion! |
