Hello everyone. I am new to this forum as of now and I wanted to say hello. This is a neat and fun forum and it will help feed my desires for lasers. I have read many of the posts here and I could tell right away that I am going to have fun. Ever since middle school I have been interested in lasers. I grew up with a desire for science; this includes Astronomy and physics. After I saw my first green laser at a Foreigner concert many moons ago and reading about them in text books, I was hooked. I bought my first red pointer from Edmund Scientific, manufactured by Applied Laser Systems (ALS), and it was $200.00. I was so happy! Now I have several Green pointers, 5mW, 30mW, and a few 20mW, along with a 10mW & 1mW HE-NE laser. I like looking through my 25x100 binoculars and seeing the laser spot from my 25mW green laser hit a mountain 2 1/2 miles away. I would love to buy the 125mW from Wicked Lasers some time soon, until then I will enjoy the 100mW red Pulsar when it arrives next week. I am also a photographer, anyone need help with photographing their lasers? I am happy to be here, I'll talk to you all soon.

Welcome to the forum!! You will love the pulsar. As far as brightness it doesn't compare to a greenie but you won't be dissapointed. Tell us how you like it. _________________

Hey thanks for the welcome. You bet, I'll post some photos here on the forum soon. I know the red is not as bright as the green, this one however will appear as bright as a 45mW green. I got this info from some comparrision photos.
