Unfortunately, we are not allowed to reveal detailed information about our MANTIS laser due to our agreements with our military contractor clients. I will give you some information to give you an idea of what the MANTIS is.
Our newest model exceeds 1W in CW 532nm output.
We've decided to spell out the MANTIS - "Mobile ANti Terrorist Illumination System" in some of our materials for trade shows. We've gotten a lot of inquiries this way for more info. The MANTIS was not originally named after this though, it is not an acronym.
I hope I did not reveal too much information already.

I'm completely sure, but I think I remeber Nero saying that he made this video with an old mantis. I think he only had it for a few days though before he had to send it back. Lets get him in here to confirm that I'm not imagining things ... |
Nah, it's Athoul and his >500mW Spyder (one of the Spyders with the square aperture).
That Spyder has got to be the best laser in the portable laser history. _________________

How powerful would a laser have to be to burn a hole through someone like the weapons of sci-fi lore? _________________ In the time of your life, live so that in that good time there shall be no ugliness or death for yourself or for any life that your life touches. Seek goodness everywhere and when it is found bring it out of the hiding place and let it be free and unashamed. Place in matter and in flesh the least of the values, for these are the things that hold death and must pass away. Discover in all things that which shines and is beyond corruption. Encourage virtue and whatever heart it may have driven into secrecy and sorrow by the shame and terror of this world.
Ignore the obvious, for it is unworthy of the clear eye and kindly heart. Be the inferior to no man, nor of any man be the superior, remember that every man is a variation of yourself. No man's guilt is yours, nor is any man's innocence a thing apart. Despise evil and ungodliness but not men of ungodliness or evil, these understand. Have no shame in being kindly or gentle, but if the time comes in the time of your life to kill, kill and have no regret. In the time of your life live so that in that wondrous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it. -MF Doom |

The military considers >200kW a weapons grade laser. That will put a hole through a person very fast. _________________

I thought it was 100kW . Or at least that's what I've heard by word-of-mouth, I don't think I've actually read it anywhere from the military though. |
