We had some real heavy snow with some fog that made for some very cool laser effects.... Smile Space.....the final frontier.......

Laughing Very cool, I've seen laser pictures in snow, but not a scanned laser. Nice shot!

Thanks Boomdog,
I have got to get a real camera because, the heavy snow would have made for some astounding shots of my Nexus, Argon and 200mw red through the scanner. Of all the picts I took, this one turned out decent...the rest sucked Mad

Pretty awesome! And it makes it even more colorful cause you have 3 or 4 different shades of color sweeping through there.

That's a smart picture Chargerman. We've just had some snow too.

Not noticeably.. Sad

They're some of the most eye-catching laser-pics I've seen for a while.
Were you scanning the beam horizontally in those pics ?

If only... if only... it would snow here! Very Happy

Ah well....

Very nice pictures! The argon makes a nice pretty "space" shot as you said!

Nice pics - love that blue-green shade!!!!

You're right about cameras - I have both a digital (Canon Powershot 3.5 MP) and an old Canon AE1 film SLR and it's well worth the effort and time to go with the quality equipment over the quick and easy stuff. I can get some pretty decent ones with the cheaper camera but I also end up taking dozens to have one worth showing.

It's supposed to snow here in a couple days so I'll see what I can get with my film camera and my Nexus and Pulsar.

Lovely color with nice effect there.

Like you and RoadRunner in the UK I've also had some snow now yesterday (finally) and the beam (of my green labby) has little flashes when snow comes through over the miles and miles it goes and it's quite nice to watch.

Hmm I used to be into the UV light stuff before discovering lasers and this combination is interesting. Unfortunatly I forgot some stuff regarding how to predict if something will glow. I can remember vaguely that it was about some type of iron that had to be used in the process of making an object but I'm not sure.

Perhaps this is nice link for you RoadRunner to experiment more with fluorescent stuff: CLICK
