Some time last night I was dreaming that I was doing something with my 55 and 15mw greenies and for some reason decided to inspect them. Holding both in one hand by the base I turned them over then looked at the button then finally looked down the aperture. I noticed something odd about the 55, it seemed like it was missing the IR filter or something when it suddenly turned on hitting me square in the eye for at least a second, I don’t know if I accidentally hit the button or if it just malfunctioned. I turned away and held my eye for a few seconds and saw a burning bluish afterglow. I was to scared to open my eyelid to see if I was blinded. Then I woke up. And completely forgot about the dream apparently. An hour ago or so I was changing the batteries of my 55 and started looking for scratches or something and my inspection made its way to aperture once again. About half a second before I was there I quickly stopped as the entire dream just replayed in my head. I decided to take out the batteries before continuing the inspection and now I don’t think I will ever look down the barrel of a laser that has its batteries in, regardless of how "off" the laser seems. Gives me the chills just thinking about it. I guess I'm posting just to remind everyone to be sure you have a firm grip on the laser and your hand is no where near the on button when you look down the shutter. _________________ Owner of a 15 and 55mW. There have been many reports all around the world from all sorts of people, having this type of event. They have a preminition of some future event, and later it happens. Time is a very strange phenomena. Perhaps the mind can travel forward and back in time. I am very open to all sorts of ideas and theories. On another note, I also take the batteries out everytime im gonna clean the lens, cause u never know, and its definately worth saving your eye sight.

Now I may not be the best laser expert on the forum BUT THIS IS SOMETHING I KNOW A TON ABOUT!!!!! I will give you a bit of background info. You are getting into the subject of hypnosis. Has a salesman ever come up to you and you have just had some sense that they were up to no good? How about your wife? Or your son/daughter? You sort of just get that "miscevious vibes" from them? Now think about this for a while: Which of the five senses is picking that up?..........NONE OF THEM! You may not know it, but there is a sixth sense. You see there are two parts of the mind. 1. The brain, it interprets things from the five main senses. 2. The subconcious mind, the sixth, final, most powerful, and perhaps the most uselful sense. Your subconcious mind is so sensitive that it can not only pick up peoples pores widening, and there pupils dilating when they want something, but it can actually unconciously read somones mind. Well, not their mind, more the brain waves that they give off. Their "vibes". For example, have you ever had a long disscussion with someone and by the end of the discussion you were finishing one anothers sentances? You were in deep rapport? Rapport is the state when the subconcious mind is the most powerful. Thats how identical twins always finish each others sentances and think the same way (their brain waves are almost identical). Now here is where it gets really interesting: Harnessing it. 1.You can use it to "talk" to someone elses unconcious mind and get them to feel a certain way, or even do something. For example, you could tell your girl/wife to feel aroused and they would have no idea that you were doing it, they would just keep nodding their head and smiling, thinking that you only have nice things to say, clueless. 2. You can use it to even communicate with others in deep rapport. For example, if me and my sister are in deep rapport, we will almost be able to use telepathy. No, we can't read minds. Finishing someones sentance when in deep rapport is a form of mind reading though if you think about it. 3. Dream control, if you know how to do it, before you sleep, you can meditate and talk you your own subconcious mind (no, it wont answer you, but it will listen!) For example, if I want to have a dream about having a 5 mega watt pen laser and fighting darth vader on a planet made entirely out of chocolate ice cream, IT IS VERY VERY POSSIBLE!!!!! But that is getting into something called "anchors" wich is a much deeper concept of self hypnosis and very hard to use when you are asleep. 4. Healing, if you are having a surgery, surgeons will start by inducing a deepend state of hypnosis. The difference here is that surgeons use .......N3ROWN3D!.......SPAMMER-ALERT........MODS-PLEASE-DELETE-THIS-ST UPID-POST......... to induce hynotic coma instead of using their own subconsious mind to do it. Another example, is school nurses use hypnosis and subconcious mind to make something stop hurting, simply by saying to the subconcious mind "hey, that doesn't really hurt. You are imagining it." they dont actually say that, they use a speech formula to say the same thing without the brain knowing it. The subconcious mind will in turn say the same thing to the brain and it will stop hurting. 5. Premonitions, a premonition is not a view of the future, its simply a fear that your subconcious mind has and is trying to warn you about. If you are scared of being blinded by a laser, you subconcious will find a way to tell you that. In this case it was via a dream. THERE ARE MANY MORE USES OF THE SUBCONCIOUS MIND!!!!! YOU CAN ELIMINATE YOUR GREATEST FEARS! I have been studying this for six years and I dont know a tenth of it. The only person who truely knew everything about the subconcious mind and what it could do is mesmer, and he is long dead. I hope this was informative, if anyone wants to know more I would be happy yo vent the other 200 pages of knowladge to you in a PM. very interesting indeed. as chief said, it might be your subconscious telling you to be more responsible with your laser, and in this case, it has guided you from a possible accident. nice, eh? unfortunately, most of my dreams are nightmares. my subconscious mind telling me that there really is a ghost under my bed. on mesmer, i heard he hypnotized the world to think he was dead, but in fact he is still alive and living with sigmund freud in a bungalow outside of paris. _________________

I had some stuff like that happen to me, but it never was that imporant or worth remembering. And I never remember that I dreamed about it, it just seems like I've seen this moment before. Its just wierd.

Off subject, but I once got really into trying to obtain lucidity (being able to know you're in a dream) in all of my dreams. I only got it to work a few times, but it was awesome. Once you realizing you're dreaming you can just do anything you want and know there are no consequences. I wish I had the ability some of my friends have, to simply have lucid dreams every time they sleep. Never can "tell" if I'm dreaming it seems. If I could though, man I'd go crazy! Do whatever and not have to worry about it. Heck, I even had a dream I fell off a cliff, and people claim if you die in your dream, you can die in real life, but I just appeared at the top of the cliff again, and then woke up so I couldn't take advantage of it. Figures... _________________

I think your mind has the ability to travel time, just not stay on the same worldline as you. Like what you do right now, is changing worldlines. Like the grandfather paradox saying if you went back in time, shot your grandpa before your grandma met him back in time, meaning you'd not have been born, the time machine would go through different worldlines, and when you came back to your worldline, he would still be alive and you as well.

every night i have lucid dreams. every single dream i am completely aware that it is a dream. i do have very abnormal sleep patterns and REM spikes and i cannot figure out why. but yes, it can be very fun and exciting controlling your dreams; especially if you are very creative. my best friend cant even recall his dreams much less controll them and he envy's me for that. some neat examples that come to mind: --i was a jew in a concentration camp and started using telekinetic powers on the germans. --i was in the middle of a gang war and got shot like 3 times in the back when i was on the ground; i stood back up and promptly got revenge. --a mexican with a semi-auto shotgun was terrorizing a school and shot at me 5 times in the parking lot. i pulled a neo and dodged the pellets my first dream that i took control was when i was 13. Godzilla was wrecking havok on my neighborhood with lava and everything. i grabbed him by the tail and went Super Mario on his ass. having complete control of a system like that is definitly a good experience. although it can be difficult to do much without a good imagination and a lust for telekinesis, etc. _________________ http://www.putfile.com/stymfalm

it's a misconception. i know a few people who dreamt they died, but is still alive. i know they were not lying, because i dreamt i died also and i'm not fully dead yet.

Wow, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who dreams about laser. Two nights ago I had a crazy dream about my modified leadlight. It was shining it about the sky at night. It appeared as strong as my 100mW does in real life. Then I shined it on a tree and the green dot started to turn red eventually the whole beam turned bright red, like a 500mW red laser might appear. It was friggen sweet. How awesome would it be to have a laser that doubled as a 500mW red/100mW green?

I've died in my dreams just once, I am still here. As far as cleaning lasers, I usually keep my laser on while I clean it, aim it vertically and look at the dot while I wipe the lens off to see when its clean enough for me
