Hey check it out! Holes in a bag using my 150mW Pulsar laser. The beam of light punched through the black letters of this bag in 1.2 seconds at a distance of 18ft. Pretty cool I thought! My black balloons don't stand a chance at this distance either.

Hey Athoul,
The answer.....no I did not. At this distance the spot size is around ~1.5mm and it is focused very well. This Laser is only behaves like this when it is cool around 75* or so. At long distances the spot is somewhat enlarged at this temp. The dot is better at long distances when it is slightly warmed in my hands for a few minutes. It's long distance sweet spot temp is apoprox. 82*. Indoors when cool then the spot is focused well. Balloons pop fast when the Pulsar is focused like this. Now my 100mW will not do this until I put it in the fridge for two minutes, only then will it pop balloons at 15~20ft. It all deprnds on the temperature.

King of Dreams: Same issue... my boss want's to know why I'm looking at a painting of a bloody naked young girl every few minutes (it's your sig pic turning up every time I scroll down a page). Can you crop or at least trim it down? We're looking at making a maximum size template for Sigs... will follow up on this shortly.
