Yeah that's true, I've had that happen on one. Just he said it happens only when he takes the batteries out, the lens should make the rattling regardless of the batteries being out or not. |
Lol, true, but the batteries usually rattle a little too when they're inside, so it's easier to hear the other rattle without them..
Cheers,

when i said i took the batteries out that was only to make sure it wasnt the
batteries i could hear it does it with or with out the batteries.
i also noticed that there is now some sort of corona around the dot,
that is there with or with out the end cap.
im not nocking my nexus i think its a great laser but there are a few things making me
wonder if it is performing correctly.
cheers. |

im pretty sure now that the rattle is coming from the top section
of the laser, between the button and the aperture.
i tried a few things that i know my laser could do when i first got it.
smoke black leather, does not make any smoke now.
cut red tape, cannot cut tape any more.
light matches, cant get any matches to light now.
i have been using some 900mah nimh batteries and i have tried other duracell and energizer batteries
but they make no difference.
Im not sure what to do now, should i ask to send it back?
cheers.
p.s when i first opened my laser there was a blue sticker on the end cap but no sticker on the aperture
there was just glue residue, maybe someone tampered with my laser |

dont know why but the laser seems to work fine now,
I havent done anything to it just tried lighting a match again and it worked.
im going to take a picture of the corona just to show you. when i look at
the dot there is a nice spot with a circle around it then a few cm away a patch of green. |

With the time of year it is it wouldn't be a surprise if a tiny bit of moisture got onto the lens.
Happened to me last year |
