Lonely Photon even suggested turning a profit with the deadly devices: "Buy a crap load of lasers and wait and watch until demand goes up and sell them!!!"

...

what the hell? HELLO!!!

They advertise JULY 1st FOR WHAT REASON!!!?!? Togive you the chance to BUY them until then

This guy bends information, creates drama and fear and is obviously just feeding off of other written articles to make himself famous...

We all know there has been the whole Australia bans lasers story, so why is this guy making up such a bad article based on his ignorance and current events... this is clearly a bad article

And whats next? "Terrorist Model Rockets"!?

NEVER, EVER ASK THAT! whenever someonr does, something much worse happens.

As for the article, it is outright revolting, and disgusting garbage that this fool has blasphemed.

This sort of mentality where bad, foolish people try to make an inanimate object seem like something terrible, and trying to get rid of all of them, (rather than trying to prevent the misuse there of.) is a lot like what a very wise and educated man once called "hoplophobia"; the fear of inanimate objects or instruments, particularly weapons, or "mental disturbance characterized by irrational aversion to weapons".The only difference being that these lasers are NOT weapons.

See here for more info on this term: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoplophobia

The sort of wackos who are trying so foolishly, and visciously to get rid of lasers, (or firearms, in countries where they aren't already banned, or overly controlled.) are not mentally sound, and need to be put away somewhere, so that they can't cause trouble for everyone else.

The objects are not the cause of any problems, and it is one of the absolute most evil things someone could do, to try to eliminate the objects, rather than try to prevent/punish the misuse thereof.

I'm just wondering if, due to the fact that names were mentioned, you may have grounds for litagation. It can be argued that he has actually slandered your names, therefore, giving you grounds to sue.

Why is it, that throughout history, the people least qualified to be in charge are the ones who invariably end up being in charge? Every goverment has the same criteria for elected officials: you must be overly spastic about everything, and you must test negative for common sense, decency, and intelligence. Why a ban on lasers? A compromise could have been reached. Tougher penalties for people who misuse lasers, and/or requiring registration for a laser permit. No, instead our respective governments(United States and Australia) insist upon having some weird competition to see who can shove their head farther up their @@@. With the US we have a war that I personaly feel was started for the sole purpose of increasing Bush's profit margin from the oil fields his family owns in Texas. With Australia, this nonsense. Just two out of many examples of goverment morons trying to be pioneers in CRIT(Cranial-Rectal Impaction Technology). Where does it end? Too stupid to make good decisions, but not quite stupid enough to have a fatal accident by falling down some stairs. That's it , I'm done ranting. Apologies to all present. Neutral

You could argue that your "online name" has been defamed and slanded and due to the fact the the article was published in a mainstream media, stating the site "Laser Community" and the fact that you have published your name on this site, you may have a case.

Is it really worth it?

Dont you have to be in the same country etc...? idk...

If someone else whose experienced with this could represent us all who are concerned be easier and better? Since you are holding multiple accounts/w.e you would call them.

And wouldnt lasercommunity/wickedlasers be able to do this? Since its ALL from their site and directly from their consumers/users ?
